Green milk seaglass, 25mm hoop earrings
Beautiful and uncommon pieces of green milk seaglass threaded onto sterling silver hoops that are 25mm diameter and 0.6mm thick.
The Seaham glass factory mostly produced bottles between the early 1850s and 1921 when it closed, however during this time there was also a small amount of milk glass tableware produced. Milk glass is opaque and was generally made in pale, pastel colours. It is quite uncommon nowadays and finds are rare and to be cherished!
Each earring adorned with 4 x 2mm sterling silver beads.
