Mini stacked earrings - 14k gold Milk Glass

Mini stacked earrings - 14k gold Milk Glass

£30.00Price

These stacked earrings create a fantastic statement! Co-ordinating stacks of milk seaglass are threaded onto 14k filled gold pins, with 2 x 2mm 14k filled gold beads at each end; hung on elegant incomplete oval shaped loop-through 14k filled gold earing hooks.

Come with rubber backs for optional securing behind the ear.

The Seaham glass factory mostly produced bottles between the early 1850s and 1921 when it closed, however during this time there was also a small amount of milk glass tableware produced.  Milk glass is opaque and was generally made in pale, pastel colours, and often looks more like ceramic than glass.  It is quite uncommon nowadays and finds are rare and to be cherished!

Quantity

These stacked, medium sized earrings create a great statement but are very lightweight and easy to wear  The pair only weigh approximately 3g.

I use filled 14k gold rather than plated gold because the gold is mechanically bonded to the base metal making it a good, affordable alternative to solid gold.
