Workshops here at Seapig HQ!
Join us for a drilling workshop
Since opening the craft gallery and open studios in April 2022 we have been working hard to also make progress on the attached workshop spaces, so that we can start hosting a range of experience workshops here at Seapig. We started the series of workshops in February 2023 with a selection of dates for you to come with friends and family and try your hand at drilling some seaglass and making some pieces of jewellery to take away with you! Most people who enquire about these workshops have their own glorious collections of seaglass that they wish to bring with them and make use of, but this isn't essential and you can be provided with seaglass for no extra cost.
There are a selection of different workshops that you can choose from; with different durations, prices and items to be made. To see the full details of what the different workshops entail and the prices please see the workshop brochure.
You need to be 12 years old or older to book a place on the regular workshops. If you would like to book for a child 11 years old or under then this is best accommodated within a private workshop when parents and friends can be together and can help one another.
Here is a list of dates and availability as it currently stands.
Please email info@seapig-anglesey.com for further enquires or to request a booking. See workshop brochure for different workshops prices.

Other Workshops
In addition to our popular seaglass drilling workshops we also run other non-drilling workshops where you can try your hand at different forms of glass art, and also other crafts, whist enjoying prosecco/mulled wine (or a mocktail) and nibbles; a great way to spend an evening! For these workshops I team up with other artists including Sue from Tidal Hunter who is a wonderful artist, specialising in seaglass art, and Ruth from Blodau Blooms who grows an amazing array of plants and flowers here on Anglesey.
These workshops are approximately two hours long, and usually run from 17:30-19:30. They include all the materials needed to create the two crafts, a minimum of 2 glasses of bubbly/mulled wine each, and savoury nibbles. No age restrictions.

Bezelled Seaglass Ring or Bangle Experiences
If you have even wanted to try your hand at silversmithing, bezelling seaglass or making yourself a seaglass ring or bangle then you might love the new experiences we have started to offer. In these full day workshops you will be shown all of the stages of creating a seaglass bezel and attaching it to either a solid silver ring of bangle that you will also create from 100% recycled silver bullion. Throughout the day you will also be served barista coffees or a selection of teas, home baked cakes and flapjack, and then have wholesome soup and fresh bread for lunch.
We won't be advertising these kinds of workshops with sign up dates but if you are interested in attending with a sibling, best friend, parent or partner then just get in touch and we can send you full details of what it entails. We can probably only fit one of these in a month, and during our busier season (from Easter until Sept) it is likely to be weekday availability only. We will only teach in twos, no more, because we want to keep this as an intensive but intimate experience that takes place in our own working space. The price to come along and make either a ring similar to the photos here, or a bezel bangle will be £260pp for an 8 hour workshop, all materials, and all food and drinks.
