Workshops here at Seapig HQ!

Drilling workshops
Since opening the craft gallery and in April 2022 we have hosted hundreds of people, of all ages, to learn how to drill seaglass, and make themselves some beautiful seaglass jewellery.
As of January 2026 our eco gallery and workshop space are closed to general drop-in trading. We are still currently living and working at this site, but we have decided to spend a lot more time together as a family, and so we are not going to be opening to the public in the same way we have for the past 3-4 years.
We still have our fully equipped workshop space, and we will still be looking to offer some private workshops on demand, around our other commitments. If you have a group of friends or family (3-6 people) who would like to come along and take part in one of these workshops then please do just email me and we can see if we can find a mutually convenient date.
NEW Sign-up option!! Saturday 28 Feb start 14:00 - Pendant and Earrings
4 spaces available
To see the full details of what the different workshops entail and the prices please see the workshop brochure.
Spaces are reserved with a £10 deposit per head, and the balance is due a week before the workshop.
Other Seapig Workshops
In addition to our popular seaglass drilling workshops we have also run a variety of other non-drilling workshops where you can try your hand at different forms of glass art such as creating a Morse Code seaglass necklace, making a seaglass bracelets, constructing seaglass pictures and cards, and designing and making seaglass snowflakes.
These non-drilling workshops can be either hosted in our own workshops space, or, are pretty portable, and so can possibly be carried out at private homes, community centres, schools, holiday parks etc.
If you have a request or an idea for a non-drilling workshop then just get in touch and we will see if we can put a package together for you. Prices for these workshops vary depending on the activity and the cost of materials, but generally around £15-£35pp.
Spaces are reserved with a £10 deposit and the balance is due a week before the workshop.

Bezelled Seaglass Ring or Bangle Experiences
If you have even wanted to try your hand at silversmithing, bezelling seaglass or making yourself a seaglass ring or bangle then you might love the new experiences we have started to offer. In these full day workshops you will be shown all of the stages of creating a seaglass bezel and attaching it to either a solid silver ring of bangle that you will also create from 100% recycled silver bullion. Throughout the day you will also be served barista coffees or a selection of teas, home baked cakes and flapjack, and then have wholesome soup and fresh bread for lunch.
We won't be advertising these kinds of workshops with sign up dates but if you are interested in attending with a sibling, best friend, parent or partner then just get in touch and we can send you full details of what it entails.
We will only teach in twos, no more, because we want to keep this as an intensive but intimate experience that takes place in our own working space. The price to come along and make either a ring similar to the photos here, or a bezel bangle will be £260pp for an 8 hour workshop, hallmarking, all materials, and all food and drinks.
