Green RARE milk seaglass loop-through earring
These beautiful and chunky, triangular nuggets of green milk seaglass make stunningly elegant earrings, hung on elegant sterling silver pinch bail hooks that are really eye-catching. Total drop to base of the glass is approximately 35mm.
The Seaham glass factory mostly produced bottles between the early 1850s and 1921 when it closed, however during this time there was also a small amount of milk glass tableware produced. Milk glass is opaque and was generally made in pale, pastel colours, and often looks more like ceramic than glass. It is quite uncommon nowadays and finds are rare and to be cherished!
Optional rubber backs are supplied.
